Some times smart entrepreneurs with solid intentions gets led down the wrong technology path. This is an unfortunate time and resource-intense reality, and it happens everyday. Oddpodz learned some expensive lessons, but, continues move their venture forward. They did not need a better long-term solution, they needed a very rapid interim fix.

Objective
Oddpodz sought to launch an online destination that would connect buyers and sellers of creative services and industries in a collaborative, content-rich, interactive environment.

The desired platform would enable creative talent, resources, companies and suppliers to post their capabilities and wares to connect with buyers. Buyers could post their creative services needs to access the best, trusted, creative services providers. Most importantly, Oddpodz wanted the community to offer a vast “cybrary” of inspiration, education, and collaborative tools to advance creative professionals, industries and businesses.

Outcome
Wyndstorm was selected because of their understanding of the start-up world, social media expertise and willingness to find quick, short-term, cost-effective solutions, while the ultimate site is under construction. Beyond web-launch experience, diverse technology expertise, and online marketing skills, Oddpodz is leveraging Wyndstorm’s comprehensive feature-set, user-friendly content management system, and a multi-tiered billing and transaction management system.  A bonus is the video-calling between Oddpodz members so that everyone can communicate and collaborate productively.  Most importantly, Wyndstorm’s location-based advertising provides creative industry-specific targeted for online promotions that can effectively market services, suppliers and providers within the community.
